Our Story
Four Years of Excellence
RDFW was founded by Gray Models and Talent owner and Talent Agent, Tracy Gray to bring a unique, elevated, fashion experience to the Triangle. The experience brings carefully curated designers, professional models, and emerging entertainment acts to support creatives, enhance the economy and inspire artists to thrive.
Our goal is to continue to grow the audience, display luxury, couture and ready to wear garments, and encourage commerce within the fashion scene with a positive, entertaining, community-supportive event that is a must for elegant minded cosmopolitans.
We will not charge our models or insist they buy tickets or classes.
RDFW promotes "No Pay. No Slay." Professional level models have a skill set that they have worked hard to accomplish. They should be given opportunites that uphold their worth. We pay the models who walk for RDFW, because they deserve it.

WALK VIDEO INSTRUCTIONS:
Please, view the sample to see what style of walk video to create. This is from a past casting, just to give an idea. Do not recreate this exactly. Follow all instructions on this form.
DO NOT SEND IN VIDEO FROM A PAST FASHION SHOW. THESE TEND TO NOT HAVE A CLEAR VIEW OF FOOTWORK, MAY BE NOT CURRENT, OR WON'T HAVE THE SAME TEMPO AS THE MUSIC WE ARE REQUIRING.
Videos can be filmed on your phone with Cap Cut, TikTok or any other video editing app.

Models walk using the music "Jocking" by Melting Plastic, available on Spotify.
Failure to use the correct music may result in having to redo the video or being disqualified. We need uniformity in the beat the models are walking to.
Please, make a 30 second video. Include two walks in two different walk styles. One walk needs to be a NYC High Fashion type walk, and the other in a friendly local show style walk.
PHOTO INSTRUCTIONS:
Please upload one full body and one headshot. We need to see your facial features clearly. No hats, sunglasses, glasses, heavy makeup or shadows.
Your photos and/or video must be uploaded to the button within this form.
Judging Details
Designers and the RDFW staff will be selecting the models from the photos and videos uploaded and the in person MODEL CALL. Gray Models and Talent is pre-screening all virtual submissions for quality control. Poor quality videos and photos may be asked to resubmit or may be disqualified.
If you are chosen to appear in the video gallery, you will be notified that you have made the first cut. The gallery will be shared with designers for final selection and booking.
Other Info
Models hired and booked who appear in RDFW will be paid $200 -20% commission to Gray Models and Talent all inclusive for all events. Payment is net 90 days.
We are accepting children, teens and up, no height or size requirements.
Under 18 participants must have this form completed by a legal adult guardian or parent.
The deadline to submit videos and photos is June 27, 2026.
